Sunday at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium at 3 p.m. ET, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Cincinnati Bengals will grapple for the championship and a ticket to the Super Bowl. Kansas City is out to keep their eight-game home win streak alive.

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Chiefs ultimately got the result they were hoping for last week with a 42-36 victory over the Buffalo Bills. Kansas City's win was all the more impressive since Buffalo was averaging only 17 points allowed on the season. QB Patrick Mahomes had a stellar game for Kansas City as he passed for three TDs and 378 yards on 44 attempts in addition to rushing for one TD and 69 yards. Mahomes' 64-yard touchdown toss up the middle to WR Tyreek Hill in the fourth quarter made for one of the most memorable moments of the evening.

Special teams collected 12 points for Kansas City. K Harrison Butker delivered a perfect 3-for-3 game.

Meanwhile, Cincinnati earned some more postseason success in their contest last week. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Tennessee Titans 19-16. The Bengals' RB Joe Mixon did his thing and punched in one rushing touchdown.

Most of the squad's points came courtesy of special teams, which contributed 13. K Evan McPherson booted in four field goals, the longest a 54-yarder in the second quarter, which ultimately accounted for the difference in the game.

The Chiefs are the favorite in this one, with an expected 7-point margin of victory. They might be worth taking a chance on against the spread as they are currently on a two-game streak of ATS wins.

It was close but no cigar for Kansas City as they fell 34-31 to Cincinnati when the two teams last met earlier in the regular season. Maybe Kansas City will have more luck at home instead of on the road? Watch the matchup and check back on CBS Sports for all the details.

The Cincinnati Bengals broke a 33-year streak when they defeated the Las Vegas Raiders in the Wild Card Round of the 2022 NFL playoffs. Now, they're one win away from the 2022 Super Bowl, but the team in their way has won the AFC title the last two years. The Kansas City Chiefs have rebounded from their midseason slump to reach the precipice of a third straight Super Bowl trip. Can they advance once more in the NFL playoff bracket? You can see what happens in the 2022 NFL playoffs when you stream the game on Paramount+.

Before turning into Sunday's Bengals vs. Chiefs game, you need to see the NFL picks from SportsLine's advanced computer model. The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up over $7,500 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception six-plus years ago. The model enters championship weekend of the 2021 NFL playoffs on an incredible 137-97 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season. Amazingly, it hasn't missed a top-rated pick since Week 14 of the regular season.

The model also ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past five years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94 percent of CBS Sports Football Pick'em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is way up.

For Bengals vs. Chiefs, the model's top pick is under 54.5 total points. While both teams advanced in the 2022 NFL playoffs on the backs of their game-breaking quarterbacks and wide receivers, the defenses are underrated.

The Bengals, despite quarterback Joe Burrow and receiver Ja'Marr Chase starring, have engaged in several low-scoring games in the 2022 NFL playoffs, with totals going under in both games. While the Chiefs gave up 36 points to the Bills last week, they suffocated the Steelers offense in the Wild Card Round, limiting Pittsburgh to 257 total yards.

SportsLine's model has the under cashing in almost 60 percent of simulations, making it a top pick for the week. The model projects a final score of 31-22, which gets the total under that crucial 54.5 number.
